Boullier hopes Kubica will race in ?11

Renault has not given up hope that Robert Kubica will be fit enough to race for the team later this season - despite suggestions earlier this week that senior figures felt "sure" he would not be able to compete in 2011. Team owner Gerard Lopez told Spanish radio station Onda Cero after last week's Barcelona event that he believed the most likely scenario for the injured Pole was for him to do a Friday session only

Alonso: Silverstone title crunch point

Fernando Alonso reckons the British Grand Prix in July will be the key indicator of whether Ferrari has any chance of fighting for this year's world championship. After falling 74 points behind leader Sebastian Vettel as the reigning champion took his fifth win of the year in Monaco yesterday, Alonso expressed concern that his world title hopes were looking remote.
