Carpenter leads first practice day

Ed Carpenter and Sarah Fisher Racing marked their first IndyCar appearances of the season with the quickest time on the opening day of fully-fledged practice for the Indianapolis 500 on Saturday. The six-hour session was interrupted by rain showers, and was for many teams little more than a shakedown.
