Lewis Willamson continued his and the MW Arden squad's domination of GP3 testing at the Hungaroring by topping the final day's running. The British driver had been quickest on the first day of action at the Hungarian Grand Prix venue, but knocked another second off his best lap during the morning to set the pace in 1m37.528s - a time that would not be beaten for the rest of the day. Most drivers set their best times in the morning as the afternoon session was cut short due to the onset of rain.
