Race for Recovery

A group of considerate iRacers is staging the Race for Recovery on May 30, with the support of a several online racing organizations including iRacing.com.� The charity event is designed to raise money for disaster relief efforts following the series of disastrous tornados that swept across Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee last month.��� Money raised by the event will be donated in equal amounts to the United Way�and the NASCAR Unites Fund. Event organizers Dominic Carelli, Timothy Johnston and Darrell McKee are hoping Race for Recovery will have as many as 120 sim racers and four splits, and have worked in coordination with the International Sim Racing Association (ISRA), In The Zone Racing (ITZR)and the Short Track Pro Cup�Series�(STPC) leagues as well as iRacing.com to make Race for Recovery a [...]
